Developing the concept
I didn’t define Premium Sustainability from the outset.
I discovered it, through a decade of working alongside some of Europe’s most respected brands, stepping inside their challenges, and seeing what excellence really requires. Let me tell you my story.
PwC Experience
I began my career at PwC, one of the world’s leading professional services firms. There, I was immersed in the core pillars of sustainability: strategy, management, reporting and communication.
I worked hand in hand with some of the most recognised companies on the planet. It was a place to learn from the best, and a unique opportunity to understand how complex organisations operate and evolve.

From Consultant to Guide
After years of high-level consulting, I decided to take a different path. I became an independent professional, and one of my first clients was a family-owned company preparing for its IPO. They had the knowledge, they had the resources, but something was missing: a unifying vision and the right structures to turn sustainability into a structured driver of brand value.
That was a turning point. They didn’t need a consultant focused on an specific project. They needed someone who could see the whole picture, connect the dots, and guide the organisation forward. That’s when I stopped acting as a consultant, and began leading as a Corporate Sustainability Guide.

Developing Premium Sustainability
Not long after, I joined ESADE, one of Europe’s top business schools, as a mentor for executive leaders navigating the sustainability transition.
There, I saw a clear difference between two types of companies: Compliers, who treat sustainability as a requirement, and Icons, who use it to elevate their brand, forge deep emotional connections, and evolve without losing what makes them timeless.
Working with these Icons, I was drawn into the questions that truly define their journey:
How can sustainability enhance what makes us iconic?
How do we change without diluting who we are?
How do we turn our values into tangible advantage, without compromise?
As I worked through these questions with them, a pattern began to emerge. Those early solutions became the foundation of what I would later call Premium Sustainability.

The Six Commitments
of Premium Sustainability
Reaching Premium Sustainability has been a process shaped by years of asking myself the same question.
What does it take to make sustainability truly exceptional?
The ability to turn sustainability into competitive advantage
Sustainability becomes a strategic ally of the brand, strengthening what makes it trusted, distinctive, and valuable.
It fuels growth, protects margins, attracts high-value Clients, and enhances brand equity.
Sustainability at the heart of leadership
A culture that brings sustainability to life
The value of sustainability is made visible: communicated with clarity, ambition, and evidence.
That shared understanding becomes a force: people believe in it, act on it, and bring it to life across the business.
Products and models that reflect your values
Sustainability is built into what the brand offers, as an expression of what the company stands for.
When its products and business model reflect its values, the brand becomes unmistakable.
The power to make people feel it
Sustainability becomes part of the story the brand tells.
It inspires, connects, and amplifies what makes the brand instantly recognisable and deeply felt.
The courage to play the long game
Balancing short-term success with long-term legacy is what defines enduring brands.Sustainability becomes part of that legacy.
SUCCESS STORIES
In Their Words
Much of my work happens behind the scenes, and many of the companies I support require full confidentiality. But a few of the leaders I’ve worked with have generously agreed to share their perspective. Here are some of their words.
Here are some of their words.
The Way I Work
In my experience, the real problems businesses face go far beyond typical sustainability projects and standard solutions (strategy, materiality, carbon footprint calculation, etc.). Those are technical problems, with relatively easy solutions. The real challenges are something else.
It’s about managing opposition (even when it’s unspoken) at every level of the organisation, just to make things happen.
It’s about making sure what you do today is coherent with what the brand has been, and what it wants to become.
It’s having lots of ideas, and a finite budget. And having to choose what gets done and what doesn’t.
It’s trying to look in three directions at once, aligning the interests of investors, clients, and employees.
It’s juggling desirability, brand value, and compliance.
These are the real, day-to-day challenges. And they require a very particular mix of skills and experiences much harder to find. Skills I’ve developed throughout my career (and continue honing).
What I offer is to bring those skills and be by your side, to share the load and help you find the best way forward.
Sometimes as a companion. Sometimes as a guide.
If this resonates with you, I’d be glad to explore what we can build together.

Choose the model that fits your needs and your ambition
A one-to-one, standalone session designed for leaders who want clarity on a specific challenge. Each session is supported by a tailored pre-read and requires prior reflection, so we can go deep and be effective.
Often used to prepare for high-stakes meetings, stakeholder negotiations or complex decision points.

A one-day workshop with your leadership team to align perspectives and extract high-value business actions around sustainability, ready to be implemented.

A long-term advisory partnership in which I support your leadership and core teams across the most relevant initiatives. Ideal for long-term evolution.

A temporary in-house role to lead or support sustainability from within — ideal for times of transformation, acceleration, or transition.

For companies looking for external guidance, challenge, and support without the need to add a full-time resource. Support can be provided through individual 1:1 sessions with key stakeholders or through group sessions involving several teams across the company.

For companies that need a senior sustainability professional integrated into the business, but without hiring a full-time employee. The role can involve leading the sustainability function directly, supporting an existing team, or stepping in during critical moments such as reporting cycles, regulatory changes, audits, or internal transitions.

A consultant manages projects. I help steer companies, and my approach is integrated. Let me give you a concrete example: a double materiality assessment. A consultant might deliver it as a turnkey project. I would help you decide whether to run it internally or externally (and with whom), and support your implementation team to extract maximum value from the process. Whereas the consultant focuses on that one project, I help you develop other key areas in parallel.
Collaboration length depends on the type of support the company needs.
Advisory work can vary significantly. Some collaborations are very focused and short-term, such as a workshop, a one-off 1:1 session, or support around a specific challenge. Others develop into longer-term partnerships, supporting the business over several months or even more than a year.
Fractional and interim assignments are usually longer, as they involve becoming part of the company’s day-to-day operations. In most cases, these collaborations tend to last around a year, depending on the company’s needs and the scope of the role.
I hold a degree in Environmental Science, complemented by business administration training. I’ve also studied sustainability management at Yale and hold the CFA ESG Investing Certificate. My ongoing education includes topics such as strategy, governance design, communication, and marketing. I also stay up to date with the technical and regulatory aspects of Corporate Sustainability.
Yes, I work regularly with listed companies, like Puig, Cabka and Almirall. I have also worked with investment funds, being able to see the picture from the other side.
I usually work with multinational companies headquartered in the European Union.
Most short-term collaborations, such as workshops, one-off sessions, or focused advisory support, are delivered fully remotely. For longer-term collaborations, I usually combine remote work with regular in-person presence when needed. For interim and fractional roles, I typically work with a structure of around 75% remote and 25% on site, depending on the company’s needs and the stage of the process.
I work alone. I don’t delegate my services to support staff (no junior consultants involved)
I work in English and Spanish.
